Our Chakraology program uses an integrative, yoga-based approach to help students align their chakras to heal trauma, access self-love, live a more balanced, fulfilled life, and find freedom from emotional pain and suffering.
305 Yoga’s founder, Terri Cooper Space, created Chakraology to continue to pass on the knowledge she has acquired as a dedicated student and practitioner of chakra alignment since 2003. Having led countless chakra workshops, classes, private sessions and trainings, she has carefully honed her skills around this unique, powerful and sensitive craft. She has developed a profound understanding of how the chakras affect us in our daily lives, and even on our yoga mats.
Our life-changing Chakraology workshops, immersions and retreats are open to both yoga students and teachers. The Chakraology Masters Course is offered exclusively to yoga teachers.
Our energy body (or subtle body) is made up of CHAKRAS (vortices of energy) that serve as transmitters, and NADIS (the rivers that energy moves through) that serve as conduits.
The subtle body consists of our non-physical anatomy and has a direct impact on our overall health and wellbeing.
When we are experiencing optimal health and wellbeing, our prana is able to flow effectively, giving us the energy we need. But, when our nadis become choked, or a chakra begins to steal prana from another chakra, we go out of balance.
Chakraology works within this energetic realm to gain alignment and balance.
Chakraology uses a WHOLE SELF Three Limb Approach that acknowledges trauma as the root cause of chakra imbalance. Trauma creates physical and/or emotional pain, sending our chakras out of balance. This in turn further impacts our social/emotional well-being and physical health.
To access balance and deep emotional and physical healing, Chakraology uses an integrative method of therapeutic practices such as mindfulness, structural alignment, yogic breath work, and *CPTG Essential Oils. *Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade
Our Chakraology program includes formats that offer varying degrees of depth. Each offering provides a safe and stable environment to gain personal understanding of how your body holds and distributes prana. All formats utilize breath work, a full asana practice, lecture, reading and journaling.
This Masters Facilitation Course gives yoga teachers the skills to understand how trauma affects the body, and how to usher students through their bodies into more mindfulness. Teachers also learn how to look at someone’s body and know the postures to be avoided and those to be used to SAFELY find energetic alignment.
Yoga teachers interested in qualifying for the Masters Facilitation Course need to have accumulated 60 Chakra Education Credits by completing any combination of the chakra trainings outlined above.
